You have every right to grieve and there is no such thing as a wrong emotion. My heart goes out to you. it must have been so hard when he moved to an institution and I am so sorry he is not closer to you so you can visit more easily. It was clearly best all round, but that doesn't mean there won't still be grief. I don't know why I am writing this really - my guess is you know all of this.
