Worthy of a Boost, in my opinion, Myla. I am sad this hasn't had the reads and recognition it deserves. My children grew up in a racially diverse community in London and I never saw racism in action, until I did. I was so shocked I spent days reading everything I could in an attempt to understand it. What I learnt (and I am sure there is much more) is that racism stems from two things: lack of education and lack of exposure. It does not make it excusable, of course, but it allows for an understanding of your mother's fear. Kindness is always possible. 🙏💚
