What a wonderful story and profound message, Terry. I find dogs to be the very best teachers of how to live in the present moment. Dexter is an inspiration to us all. This reminds me of the story about the bumble bee. apparently according to all known laws of flight, they should not be able to fly. When the teacher is asked: so how can the bumble bee fly? .. . the answer is: because it doesn't know it can't.
