We had a neighbour in Cornwall who hacked down the most beautiful ancient oak in order to improve his view. The person who owned the land just the other side of where the tree was taken down was so angry, he got a whole pile of building materials and a big ugly digger and plonked it there. Not such a great view for the neighbour.
