Two Surprising Ways You Can Nourish Your Qi

Qi (pronounced chee) is not a word that can be easily translated: entire books have been written on the subject. I prefer to keep things simple, so I ask you to think of it as your vital energy; think of it as that insubstantial thing keeping you alive.

pockett dessert wrote an article recently and in it was this lovely quote:

Diet is not only what you eat.
It’s what you watch,
what you listen to,
what you read,
and the people you hang around.
Be mindful of things you put into your body
emotionally, spiritually and physically.

There are some obvious ways to nourish yourself: eating good quality food, having access to pure water and clean, fresh air, getting plenty of sleep and cultivating peace of mind.

But there are other less well-known ways you can nourish your energy. I share two of them here.

One is to look at beautiful things.
