Toni, I am autistic and when times are tough I resort to wearing my own equivalent of the Link Sky costume .Every. Single. Day. White T-shirt (or white long sleeve fleece in winter) and dungarees. I have two pairs of the dungarees and five of each of the white thingies. It helps me to not have to think about what to wear. This is such a heart warming tale and Sky is lucky to have you - what a wonderful mother you are to not dismiss his needs, but work with him to find ways to support them. I'm cheering for you! And him. So many parents of children with autism try to "fix" them and mould them towards fitting into a neurotypical world. You should write a guide-book for mothers with autistic children. A🙏💚
