I have done my fair share of marking Maths GCSE papers.
One question asked pupils to work out what time they should remove a cake from the oven if it went at 1.15pm and took 2 hours and 20 minutes to cook.
One candidate thought it should be removed from the oven at 1.05pm — ten minutes before it even went in. Yummy.
Someone else thought the cheapest cost of feeding a dog (that eats half a kilogram a day) for 40 days was £4,800 (that is ONE expensive dog).
