This resonates on so many levels, Soozie. My son has Irish blood him in and is also funny and well loved. I am glad you have given up trying to change him, because you can't. You know that, of course. Until he makes the choice for himself there is nothing anyone can do except maybe let him know they will be there to support him should he ever make the choice. I'm sad for all those of us who are caught up in the problems that can come with excess alcohol consumption by those we care about. But so very glad to find that you are in France now and the distance has made things easier for you. A🙏💚
