This is SO interesting Pamela, and it explains so much. It means, i hope, that anyone reading this will recognise that they need as much care in the aftermath of ghosting as if they had been physically wounded.

I have never ghosted anyone. I did go on a fair number of blind dates, but I always sent a text the next day along the lines of lovely to meet you but sorry, I'm afraid i don't want to take things any further. It would have felt horribly rude not to do that. If I have ever been ghosted, I have forgotten about it. I tend to do that - erase anything painful from my memory.
