This is MY favoured approach, I have to confess. I never sit long at a blank screen. I get out, or curl up and watch something on TV with a bar of chocolate, or mostly, i will just read. And whether I turn to a book or to Medium, i eventally get inspired.

Different approaches work for different people and I've read all that advice about setting aside specific times for writing and staying put. Even if you end up with nothing written at the end of your stint.. But it doesn't work for me. Glad you have found a balanced approach that works for you. A💚
