Yesterday I read an article where somebody revealed they had made thousands of dollars from a single “How to . .” article.

A plan was hatched. A cunning plan. Step 1: find out what people want to know. Do this by typing into Google: “How to . . .” and see what comes up. Step 2: take the top results and answer them.

Let’s see how things went, shall we?

Attempt #1 of Step 1: brought up all the stuff I have recently searched for. Get back to me if you want to know “How to get lurcher vomit out of a wool carpet.” Solution: delete my search history in Google.

Attempt #2: brought up: “How to delete search history in Google.” Solution: adjust the criteria and type in “How to . . .” cunningly followed by each letter of the alphabet. Genius. I am a genius. I might be able to generate 25 viral articles. I shall just have to miss “d” out.

Attempt #3: Bingo.
Medium says you have to have lots of pictures. Let’s take a screenshot.

Damn and blast it. The image now includes all the tabs I have open at the top. Or are they my husband’s tabs? Let’s not go there. Solution
