Fortunately, there are wonderful alternatives to AA now, and I am a fan of Belle's Tired of Thinking About Drinking programme, which does not mention God and involves a fair degree of swearing. More up my street. But her programme is for alcoholics and not the family of alcoholics. Maybe it is time someone invented a new programme for those like me!
