Thank you for this, John.I am inspired to check out the Ted talk you mention. I adore learning. The questions I had as a child were never answered and the internet had yet to be invented. You were lucky to have the father you did. I did read a lot and my parents did buy books, but libraries scared me. The internet has been a godsend for me.

I hadn't heard of the Khan Academy. What a wonderful mission they have.
