Thank you for this. I am so sorry to read about the loss of your father. My condolences. Did you manage to see him before he died? I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to be so far away when tragedy strikes like that.

The first time Harry left for Australia I didn't cry because I didn't want him to see how upset i was. I was seeing an autism counsellor at the time of his latest visit (when i wrote this poem) and discussed with her how I was feeling. She said she thought it was OK for him to see me cry so the reunion at Heathrow was VERY tearful and very beautiful. It is hands down the longest and best hug I have ever had.
