Thank goodness for that. Thanks for getting back to me. YES. Thinking about it you are right - capitalist model. I have a slightly different take, I think. I'm grateful to be paid anything! And it is so much easier to write short content here than get off my arse and write a book. I've made more here on Medium than published authors have. And I remain grateful to Medium for that. But if March earnings are way down it may just be the catalyst I need to do some proper work!
