  1. One of the worst things you can burden your child with is the desire that they be happy. Learn to let go of all of your desires.
  2. The thing you find most challenging to let go of is the thing that is keeping you trapped.
  3. Your life really does begin at the edge of your comfort zone; it is when you do the things you find difficult or scary that you will feel most alive.
  4. The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself: take time to find out who you are, ask yourself this question regularly, and above all, be kind to yourself.
  5. People will like you more if you have clear boundaries and occasionally say “ NO “.

6. The more you have, the more you have to look after.

7. Possessions will mean nothing to you at the end of your life: placing your focus on meaningful connections will bring more joy than acquiring wealth.

8. There is more joy to being sober than I could have imagined.
