Such an insightful piece and it has made me reflect on the youth here in the UK. I read recently that while mine was the generation of acquisition (houses in particular) theirs is the generation of experience. I know many who work for a while to save up enough to travel, then they travel for as long as they can before coming back to do the whole thing on repeat. It is almost impossible for young people to buy a house now and I applaud their bravery in finding a life that is centred more around the now than the future. I am not sure how it will pan out in the long term, but i empathise and sense their frustration at how things are stacked against them. Thanks again for such a thought provoking read. A🙏💚
