So sad to read this, and very much hoping it IS because people no longer feel scared of speaking out against wrongdoers. I understand your indignation at the accusation levelled against you. I felt the same thing when one of my children (very young) asked me what "racist" meant. A child (offended by something unrelated to colour) had accused him of being racist. He had grown up in London in a very multi-cultural area and had no concept of the term. Perhaps that was my failing. Thanks for another exceptional piece of writing. A🙏💚
