So much to be said in favour of a slower pace of life. In Cornwall, they have a saying: "Drecklly". Everything will get done dreckly. I asked someone what it meant. "It's like the Spanish manana but without the urgency." I was so frustrated when we first moved there. But learned to appreciate the slower pace and even admire the Cornish work/life balance which meant that if the weather was good and the tides were right, everyone would down tools and go surfing whatever the day of the week.
