I would be a gibbering wreck if I had to contend with selfish drivers and short yield lanes. What a nightmare. It was lovely to see a glimmer of hope though - that there are angels who will stop to help you if you are in trouble.
Topes - we call them sleeping policemen here 😁.
The worst place I have driven was in India - they just use their horn instead of indicators and overtake in ridiculous and dangerous places - they have a death toll to match. I was shocked by how quickly people drive in Cornwall (again lots of deaths); my experience is that London drivers are the kindest - they are super generous at letting people out of side roads and the slow crawl of traffic means everyone has learnt to be patient.
