No. The only followers who get your article each time you write something are the ones who have subscribed to you and get an email. All the followers MAY see your story in their feed but this will depend very much on how many other people they are following. If they are following 1000 people, the likelihood of your story appearing at the top of their feed is 1000-1. You are following, i think, thousands of people. You don't get to see everything they post. How could you?
Sorry to be so blunt. Of course, you want more than $25 for your hard work. I am sure you deserve it too. But that isn't how Medium works.
I have a core group of writers here that i admire and subscribe to - i read (almost) everything they publish. But it is hard to keep up with even 20 email subscriptions.
For me the only approach that sits well is to write what i love to write and to write from the heart. I write because I love to write and i would be here doing it even if there was zero income to be had. ANY money is a bonus. I look on Medium as the best training ground to improve as a writer - a steppingstone on my journey.
Keep writing Jo Ann. Write because you are a writer. Write because you love to write and have something to share. And maybe one of your articles will go viral one day and the $ will roll in. Wishing you all the very best, A🙏💚
