I can't find it now but somewhere there is a piece where Tony Stubblebine speaks about using Medium as a launch pad, as one step along the way to becoming to a writer, a published author.

I'm curious about why you don't make money on WordPress? I know little about it but am super impressed by your 7K followers. Does it cost you to post stories there? I notice they have payment plans but I also see the plans include "collect payments" and am curious.
