It has long been mybelief that we can only be kind to others to the extent we are kind to ourselves. I shall have to re-examine my belief in light of your tender article. Maybe kindness to others, and other things including pine cones, can start a ripple that spreads and comes full circle back to us. I like having my beliefs challenged.
