I'm no leader, and will never be a senior one, but i think the top position in anything can be a lonely place to be. I remember when I was training to be an acupuncturist and we were given a lecture by one of the big acupuncture "names" who said that we had to be the all-knowing Generals and our patients were the soldiers in need of instructions. This did not sit well with me. I decided I would prefer to be the same rank as my patients, walking alongside them on their journey. Not professing to know better than them. Sorry, I've gone off-topic, haven't I?
I hope senior leaders read this and take your advice to heart. We all need help in my book.
