I'm autistic. I've never managed to hold down a normal job. Self-employment was the only option. Medium has been a godsend. It is so much easier to engage virtually - with time to check I haven't said something stupid before hitting "respond". I still mess up. But it is definitely easier. Great article, Deanna.
