I used to err on the side of kindness and respond with a generic "thanks for reading." But I've got a bit bolshy recently. I tend to hit the block button now. I'd feel better about doing it if I knew the people behind all this scamming were going to be impacted in some way.

I wonder if we could put a motion to the Medium bosses to suggest . . .that every account which is blocked by (eg) 100 readers. Or 1000. is automatically suspended and investigated.
