I loved this story Deb and the idea that you go on treasure hunts in cobwebby sheds. My husband watches a programme called Cash in the Attic or something and everytime I declare that I would SO have taken that thing to the charity shop, and I definitely wouldn't want it in my home, it sells for thousands. Practically guaranteed. I'd be hopeless at your job.

I too would be interested in reading the first page at least of the book you rescued (and now own the copyright too!). That was a good thing you did to rescue the ms and turn it into such a lovely story about how rejection hits hard for writers.
