I love your writer's voice, Ahilya, and this is such an insightful piece. There is no such thing as a wrong emotion - just expressed and unexpressed. And it is the unexpressed emotions that cause problems. I used to let my children be angry (I wasn't allowed to be!). I'd encourage them: paint me a picture of how angry you are . . . cue big brown sweeping splodges. Bravo you. This should have more reads. A💚
