I love that Medium is ok with you publishing this. It reminds me a bit of the time there was an anti-police demo in London. Lining the streets to make sure there wouldn't be any trouble were. . . . lots of police, peacefully marching alongside and checking to ensure the safety of the general public (and presumably any off-duty colleagues).
