I love it when people highlight my work. It helps me figure out what has resonated with readers and what hasn't. And/or what has made them laugh. Or not. I know Brian doesn't like highlighting so I rein myself in when reading his work. I'm going to have to keep a list next to my computer now, and remember not to desecrate your work! And keep on eye on the response column here to see who else feels as you do.

I wonder if the lovely tech guys at Medium could help. Maybe a button at the top that removes highlights for those who want to read a text clean? Hmm.
