I find it incredible how things that happened to us as children can continue to affect us decades later. I have done a lot of work on "letting go", but there always seems to be more. Maybe it takes a lifetime to let go of the things that were put on us as children.There is no blame or judgment attached to that - all parents do the best they can with what has gone before. But it can be hard to shed everything -from desires to beliefs - and get down to that perfect core at our centre, where everything is perfect and serene. I wish you well, Steve. I hope you have fun exploring which rules you can safely let go of.
