I feel a bit torn. On the one hand I want to transform myself into a warrior and go back in time and stand alongside the young Alicia, be there to fight for her. But on the other hand, I don't want to go back and do anything that might change you from being who you are today: an outstandingly talented writer with the power to move and educate others, with a voice that can speak on behalf of so many who have been traumatised by the cruelty of others.
