I am glad this is now illegal in the UK.

As to whether there is such a thing as "right parenting", I was told there is no such thing as good parenting, just good enough. Not sure I entirely agree - but this is such a huge topic. My motto was: lots of love and firm boundaries. I didn't always get it right. A🙏
