I actually wince when I hear parents tell their children they are special. What a title to have to live up to. Tell them instead that even those who reach the pinnacle of success are just ordinary people, who have happened to do extraordinary things. We are all ordinary people, together, doing the best we can. And yes, life is all about the smaller things, and the laughter. I have met some truly wealthy people, who at the end of their lives would trade their possessions for just a lovely cup of tea and a chat. A🙏💚
