The A to Z of Failures

How to Be a Failure (Part F)

Making the mistakes, so you don’t have to

Writing this part in the series has taken me a long time because I couldn’t think of a Failure beginning with an F.

But then I asked my family, and they reeled off lots of things. They dictated them to me. See the photo above.

So, then I had a new problem, which I approached in the way that any self-respecting failure (at choosing) would, and cut all the options out, screwed them into tiny balls and put them in a hat. Roger picked one out, so I couldn’t cheat.

Fandom. Blame Roger. Now, you may ask yourself, how can anyone fail at being a fan? Allow me to enlighten you.

I was 15 years old when Luke’s Kingdom first aired on UK TV, and I developed a major crush on Oliver Tobias. This is he, starring in Hair. Of course, he was much more handsome in Luke’s Kingdom. To me.

I came, I wrote, I conquered. That last bit might not be true, but at least I am putting up a good fight.
