Medium is chock full of stories about how to be a success and earn billions, and we need to redress the balance. Let’s face it, most of us are not destined for great things, and we need more inspiring stories about failure.

There is a prompt doing the rounds here on Medium to write A-Z stories. Some bandwagons are just there for the jumping on.

Don’t worry; not all in one article. One at a time: we need to spread the joy that can only come from other people’s failures. And when I get to Z, I can start again at the beginning. Yes, my life story is one gigantic smorgasbord of mistakes. Allow me to me inspire you. I can teach you how to fail, then pick yourself up and fail better. I was tempted to start at P because plumbing disasters are my specialised subject. But let’s play to the rules.
