Dear Saam. I have been trying to work out why I am finding it difficult to answer the questions you pose in this article. I think it is because "love" is a woolly word to me. "Love" can mean so many different things to different people, and we use it in so many different ways. I love sushi and i loved that film i saw the other night. What does love mean to you? The only thing i can say in answer to "Will i ever be loved?"is that in my experience you will only ever be loved to the extent that you can love yourself. In this respect, i prefer "acceptance" to "love". It is clearer, less woolly. Do you accept yourself, just the way you are? In kindness, A
