Dear Philip, I could not have wished for a more informed and thoughtful response to my article.

I love the bit about religions and overcoming attachments: I think I knew that once and then forgot it (!). I think when I wrote this piece, i sort of knew or felt it was ok not to be sad, but i couldn't work out WHY it felt ok to me. You have answered the question i had. In spades. And i cannot thank you enough.

The bit you wrote about my absence of reaction not saying anything about my heart, got me a bit teary (in a very good, relieved sort of way). I nearly didn't post this article and honestly haven't felt great about keeping it up here but NOW I am SO glad that i did. I have learnt much from you today, Philip and shall sleep well tonight. I have been battling with legal stuff all day and am shattered but we go on our first holiday for 7 years tomorrow. YAY. Thank you so much, friend. I hope my gratitude comes across ok - i am writing tired. :) 💚💚💚💚

I came, I wrote, I conquered. That last bit might not be true, but at least I am putting up a good fight.
