This approach MAY work on people new to Medium. But it will have the opposite effect on anyone who has been here for some time. Most will simply delete messages like this that contain direct requests like this asking that someone read your work. Some will even block you. It is considered rude. The ONLY way you will get eyes on your work from seasoned writers here is to read their work, then comment in a meaningful way: a comment that shows you have actually read and understood it and have taken something away from that reading, even if it is that you disagree. Most will then, out of courtesy, check out your work and see if they can find something that resonates with them. But this approach here. Nope.
