Brace yourself, because I am going to be brutally honest! I read this with equal parts of admiration and horror. Admiration for all that you have done to learn and care as well as you possibly can for the hermit crabs but horror that there are places that sell them and people feel it is ok to take any wild creature and cage it. I hate to see fish in aquaria for the same reason. I so hope that anyone thinking of buying a hermit crab reads this first and that it puts them off! Well done you for shedding light on how difficult it is to meet their needs outside of their natural environment. A🙏💚
