Alas I don't know any acupuncturists near Toronto that would be a good fit for you. If you were in London, I would probably suggest you try my colleague Gerad Kite. There is a good one in Ridgeway, called Niki Bilton, but I'm not sure you would take to her. The only way to find a good one is a personal referral and even then, I would say go to meet them to decide if you think you would get on. But most of the acupuncture practised in the US and Canada is TCM and while i do believe that if the practitioner is good and has done enough work on themselves, it doesn't matter what style they practise . . . I still can't recommend TCM. It's a herb-based tradition, and what you really need is someone practising Taoist Classical Acupuncture. Anyone who has studied with Jeffrey Yuen is probably good. He's an 88th generation Taoist Master - but that would probably mean flying to Ireland!! Sorry not to be more help.
