A childhood that many, I imagine, can but dream of.

…a stable, happy childhood in my father’s boyhood town with ponds, a lake, and an Audubon sanctuary. We roamed — exploring the acres of woods and fields. We wrote plays and developed elaborate games involving the neighborhood kids. We all read voraciously. Our house overflowed with magazines, books, and animals.

A childhood that many, I imagine, can but dream of. I fear for the little ones now whose childhood is mainly TV and digital stuff. A lovely tribute to your Mum and I am glad her ashes are out of the closet now and resting in nature. 💚
